Cling

She grabbed onto the hem of His robe
Wanting desperately to be healed
Immediately, she knew He had saved her
For no more pain did she feel
She clung to the Healer
And His power set her broken body free
And one day my body will be glorified
So I may cling to Him for eternity

I cling to the Healer
I cling to my Lord
I cling to the Savior
I cling to Your Word

Mary thought her teacher was dead
Never realizing He was alive
But when Jesus spoke her name
Her first response was “Rabboni”
But He had not returned to the Father
So she needed to let Him free
But He has returned to Him now
So I may cling to Him for eternity

I cling to the Healer
I cling to my Lord
I cling to the Savior
I cling to Your Word

The nations will grab onto one Jew
And beg to follow him home
For they have heard that among His people
The Lord God has truly come
He made His entrance at Bethlehem
And His exit from Galilee
And with His return the church will rejoice
So we may cling to Him for eternity

We cling to the Healer
We cling to our Lord
We cling to the Savior
We cling to Your Word
